Historical context: On January 25, 2020, the new location of the Archaeological Museum was inaugurated. Ramon Boleda Collection, after having been located in the Old Hospital, since 2004 and with the intention that it become a permanent exhibition. The first location of the archaeological pieces collected by Ramon Boleda was one of the rooms of the sanctuary of Sant Pere Claver, which was unfortunately damaged during the Civil War. In 1976 Boleda published the Archaeological Map of the basins of the Corb, Sió and Ondara rivers and four years later a new exhibition space was created to show the archaeological material at the headquarters of “la Caixa”, despite becoming a project temporary The Sala Sant Bernat has become the definitive location of the collection.
