Elements: In this relief you can identify an architecture that reproduces a cellar, with the elements that are typical of it; barrels, carriers,… and also a reference to the vineyard.

Symbolism: During the Harvest and Wine Festival, the streets were decorated and decorated. In 1995 the Bacus Youth Association of Verdú decided to give a special prize to Passeig Tomàs Pellissó.

Ordered: Bacus Youth Association of Verdú.

Historical context: In 1990, a group of young people from Verdú took the initiative to organize the first Harvest and Wine Festival. For years the Bacus de Verdú Youth Association was the organizer of the festival, with a wide range of activities around wine and the harvest. For a few years now, Verdú City Council has been organizing the party in collaboration with the different associations. It is a festival in honor of the farmers and the people who, after doing the work in the field, make the wine. Currently the Verdú Harvest and Wine Festival is celebrated in the month of September.

Verdú is located in the Urgell region, in the province of Lleida, Catalonia.

To get there, you can take the A-2 motorway to Tàrrega and then follow the C-14 road to Verdú. You can also reach Tàrrega by train. From Tàrrega to Verdú travel must be done by taxi or on foot.
