Topic: Scene that represents the activity that takes place there.
Elements: The heads of the grouping designed and modeled a mural taking into account the identifying elements of the den: the scarf, the tent, the hiker, the music and the logos of the Grouping and of Minyons Escoltes i Guies de Catalunya . The artist Enric Orobitg was in charge of painting and baking the mural and then it was placed above the entrance door of the place that welcomes the young people.

Context
Historical context: It was the summer of 2007 that a group of enthusiastic people decided to resume the activities of the Verdú Escort and Guide Marinada Group. After three months the project became a reality, and on October 20 the first den was celebrated. The den was a space for education in leisure time for the children, boys and girls and young people of Verdú, with activities aimed at their personal growth. Many activities have been promoted and organized through the Escolta and Guia Marinada Group; children’s activities, outings, nativity scenes, candy, they participated in the Harvest and Wine Festival, the Armchair Festival and the Ceramics Fair, gymnasiums, dinners, … with a great involvement!

Verdú is located in the Urgell region, in the province of Lleida, Catalonia.
To get there, you can take the A-2 motorway to Tàrrega and then follow the C-14 road to Verdú. You can also reach Tàrrega by train. From Tàrrega to Verdú travel must be done by taxi or on foot.
